It is urgent to save the iconic "Maison Amiral" from ruin — a building at the heart of a historic site. Over 100,000 visitors a year to Roscoff and the Île de Batz spontaneously express their dismay at the risk of its deterioration. Restoring it, opening it to the public, explaining its history and presenting a collection within its walls is a vital project for the common good. An Association is mobilising. A philanthropic couple is already making a major commitment — but that will not be enough.
